Product Overview:

This is a cable-type float sensor with a 2-meter wire, used for detecting water levels in overhead or underground tanks. It operates on 5V to 12V DC via a water level controller and is not to be used directly with 230V AC supply.

The float switch functions as a simple mechanical switch that opens or closes depending on the water level. It includes a dead weight to adjust the float activation level as per tank requirements.

Technical Specifications:

⚠️ Important Safety Instructions:

• Do not connect directly to 230V AC.

• Use only with water level controller units.

• Ensure the float is submerged properly for correct operation.

• Ensure wire joints are insulated if extended.

Wiring Instructions:

• Red Wire – Common (C)

• Green Wire – Normally Open (NO)

• Your controller will use either the NO or NC depending on logic. Connect only two wires as per controller's requirement.

How It Works:

• When water rises, the float rises with it.

• The change in angle triggers the internal switch.

• The controller detects this and takes action (e.g., turning pump OFF when tank is full or ON when tank is empty).

• The switch toggles depending on its float position (tilted or hanging).

How to Adjust the Dead Weight (Black Clamp):

1. Dead Weight Purpose: It ensures the float hangs or tilts at the correct water level.

2. Adjustment:

   • Slide the dead weight up or down the cable to change the activation point.

   • For early activation, place weight closer to the float.

   • For delayed activation, place weight further away from the float.

3. Once adjusted, tighten the dead weight screw to lock it in place.
