3. Terminal Details

Input (From Mains)

  • R, Y, B – 3-phase power supply input (415V AC)

Output (To Motor)

  • A, B, C – Connected to the motor winding terminals

Sensor Input

  • B1 – Tank High Level Sensor

  • G1 – Tank Low Level Sensor

  • R/R1 – Ground Sensor (Need place in bottom )

  • G – Dry Run Sensor (Sump Empty)

  • B – Sump Full Sensor

4. Sensor Wiring Guide

Connect 5 float or SS rod sensors as follows:

WireSensor Position
B1Overhead Tank Full Level (Motor OFF)
G1Overhead Tank Low Level (Motor ON)
RReference Voltage Sensor (Ground Sensor)
GSump Tank Bottom Sensor (Dry Run)
BSump Tank High Sensor (Motor Start Permission)

5. Operating Instructions

Automatic Mode:

  1. Toggle switch to AUTO.

  2. Motor turns ON when overhead tank reaches low level (G1) and sump has sufficient water (G present, B not triggered).

  3. Motor turns OFF when tank is full (B1 activated).

  4. If G is active (dry run), the system stops motor and retries after delay.

Manual Mode:

  1. Toggle switch to MANUAL.

  2. Press START button to run the motor.

  3. Press STOP/RESET to stop motor anytime.

Dry run, voltage, and overload protections remain active in both modes.

6. Protections

ProtectionFunction
Low/High VoltagePrevents motor start below/above safe voltage limits
Single PhasingDetects and prevents running on two phases
OverloadStops motor during overcurrent condition
Dry RunStops motor if sump is empty

7. LED Indicators (Typical)

IndicatorDescription
ONPower ON
B1 / G1            Tank level indicators
B / GSump water level indicators
DisplayShows voltage (V) and load current (A)

8. Installation Notes

  • Always use proper MCB/fuse for protection.

  • Ensure phase sequence is correct (R-Y-B).

  • Keep sensors clean for long life.

  • Use shielded cable for long sensor wires to reduce noise.

9. Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Motor not starting in AutoCheck sensor wiring, dry run sensor, voltage level
Motor stops frequentlyCheck for overload or dry run
No displayCheck input power (R-Y-B)
Wrong water level detectionCheck for shorted or faulty sensor wires

10. Warranty & Support

  • 1-year manufacturing warranty.
