USER MANUAL – IT83WLCM Water Level Controller

Product Description

The IT83WLCM is a Fully Automatic Water Level Controller designed for single overhead tank systems.
It automates the motor operation using two magnetic float sensors, ensuring motor turns ON when the tank is low and OFF when full.
This model does not include dry run protection and is not compatible with push-button borewell starters.

It features a 15A relay supporting motors up to 2 HP and offers three operation modes: AUTO / OFF / MANUAL via a front switch.

Sensor Details

This model uses 2 magnetic float sensors, with two wires each. Wiring should be done as follows:

• R1 (Common/Ground): One wire from each float sensor should be joined together and connected here.
• G1 (Low Level): The remaining wire of the lower float sensor (installed near the tank bottom).
• B1 (High Level): The remaining wire of the upper float sensor (installed near the tank top).

Operating Instructions

Sensor Placement (in Overhead Tank)

• Lower Float Sensor (G1) – Installed near the bottom of the tank
• Upper Float Sensor (B1) – Installed near the top of the tank
• Common (R1) – Connect one wire from each sensor to this terminal

Switch Modes (3-Way Toggle)

• UP = AUTO Mode
  ➤ Motor turns ON when tank is low (G1 not triggered)
  ➤ Motor turns OFF when tank is full (B1 triggered)

• CENTER = OFF Mode
  ➤ Motor remains OFF, regardless of sensor input
  ➤ LED indicators stay active

• DOWN = MANUAL Mode
  ➤ Motor turns ON forcibly
  ➤ Sensor readings are ignored
  ➤ LED indicators remain active

Water Level Monitoring

• LED indicators show the real-time status of motor and water level
• Status LEDs work in all 3 modes as long as main power is ON
