1. Product Overview

The IT481WLC is a semi-automatic microcontroller-based water level controller designed for overhead tanks. It features manual motor ON and automatic motor OFF when the tank is full. The system also includes LED indicators for water level (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and motor status.

The device is compatible with various sensors such as stainless steel (SS), carbon, magnetic, and float sensors, and supports motors up to 2 HP, making it suitable for domestic and industrial applications.

3. Working Principle

• The user manually starts the motor by pressing the Start Button on the controller.

• Once the 100% level sensor detects full tank, the controller automatically switches OFF the motor.

• The motor can be started again anytime manually, irrespective of current water level.

• The controller shows tank water levels via four LED indicators: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%.

• It has motor ON indication and power status LED for quick diagnostics.

• System remembers motor state during power failure and does not restart automatically after power returns – enhancing safety and water conservation.

8. Installation Instructions

1. Mount the controller on a wall near the motor switch board.

2. Connect power input and motor output wires as per the terminal guide.

3. Install SS sensors in the overhead tank at appropriate levels (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

4. Connect each sensor wire securely to the corresponding terminal.

5. Ensure all terminals are tight and enclosed properly.

6. Press the Start Button to turn ON the motor manually. It will auto switch OFF when tank is full.

9. Safety & Maintenance Tips

• Do not use push button-type starter. Only use MCB or switch-based motor starters.

• Always ensure sensors are clean and well-placed.

• Use only the provided sensors or equivalent.

• Disconnect power supply before performing any wiring changes.

• For outdoor installations, protect controller and wires from water exposure.
